VENUE
Isrotel Royal Beach Hotel Eilat, Israel, is the flagship hotel of the Isrotel chain, situated directly on the north shore of the Red Sea.

Registration for participants includes:

PAYMENT
Payment for registration fees are to be paid directly to the Secretariat and can be made by bank transfer*, cheque, or credit card. Kindly refer to the registration form for details.
*Please ensure that the name/s of the participant/s and Symposium are clearly stated on the bank transfer. Bank charges are the responsibility of the payer and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our refund policy is based upon receiving notification as follows:
By fax/E-mail received prior to January 6, 2009, full refund less US$50 handling fee;
prior to February 6, 2009, 50% refund, thereafter, no refund.
CLIMATE AND CLOTHING
The weather in Eilat in March is warm during the day(270C) and cooler at night(160C). Clothing is informal for all occasions. Remember to bring your sunglasses, swimwear, hat and comfortable walking shoes and a jacket for the evenings.
VISAS
We suggest you confirm with your travel agent whether you will require a visa for Israel.
Upon request, the Secretariat will send a personal invitation to participate in the Symposium. It should be understood that such an invitation is only intended to assist participants in raising travel funds or obtaining a visa and does not represent any commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee.

SUNDAY, MARCH 15, 2009
An informal get-together to renew acquaintances and meet new colleagues will be held at the Isrotel Royal Beach Hotel, the Symposium venue.
TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2009
Immediately following the morning session, departure for King Solomon’s Mines and the Timna Park. These are King Solomon’s ancient copper mines which had been worked by the Egyptians even before him. A boxed lunch is included in the tour.
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 2009
The Gala Dinner will include a musical performance by the renowned Israeli Soprano, Keren Hadar.
